Ok, so in my earlier posts I have already told that my book is going to be published in December this year. Now, though this book is from a thrillventure genre, there are other books which can be said is similar to this book. So anyone liking any of the below books, will surely like The Bygone Library(And I sincerely hope you do).
So here is the list below :
1. The Hunt for Atlantis - Andy McDermott
So in my earlier posts I have already told how much I am a fan of Andy Mcdermott and his creation of Archaeologist Nina Wilde. This is the first book of the series and an inspiration for my writing. The book had everything a thriller and adventure book should have. The fights, the mysteries, loosing of parents at early age, fighting way through life, finding love, and cherry on the top is finding a hidden city, an archaeological site thought to have been a myth or lost in time.
My readers can expect something similar to this book, though there are major differences in the plot as well as the story itself. But considering everything, The Hunt for Atlantis can be said somewhat similar to that of my book - The Bygone Library.
2. Seven Ancient Wonders - Matthew Reilly
I may be partial, but I believe this book, the Seven Ancient Wonders is one of the best books punched with archaeology and action together. Yes, i am a big fan of Matthew Reilly, and love his books. But there's something special about this book. A band of people go in search of the seven ancient wonders and fight their way through against the enemies.
Though The Bygone Library is not like that, still there are some places which my readers can find similarity with this book.
3. Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown
Remember the famous code in the Da Vinci Code? Yes, the same one.
O, Draconian Devil.
Oh, Lame Saint.
This is the same code that blew the mind of many people, followed by many other revelations and codes in the trademark way of Dan Brown.
Though my book has nothing related to Da Vinci Code, but whoever loved the codes, the secret brotherhood, a secret spanning two centuries, would really love to read The Bygone Library.
My book has some mind blowing codes and revelations as well, which to some extent can be said a little similar to that of The Da Vinci Code.
So guys, let me know what you think about these books, and what's your speculation about my upcoming book in December.
