So, today, I would like to provide a particular part of my upcoming novel - The Bygone Library, specifically from the prologue section. Check this one out below :
Hans Philipp Oswald Schleif looked in the mirror to find a haunted ghost looking back at him. His hairs have gone thin over the years, and the specs shrouded his blank hollow eyes.
Been in the Nazi party for last eight years, had taken its toll. At the age of 43, he was the Standartenführer of the Ahnenerbe, the Archeological project of the Nazi Party. For these last few years, he had dedicated himself to research the Archeological and cultural history of the Aryan race. Of course, the führer was the one who had always been interested in the history of the Aryans, believing the Nazis were the real successors of the Aryan race. But Hans had his own agenda too.
He looked at the bed beside him in this vast bedroom. It hosted the dead bodies of his twin sons - Alexander and Konstantin, both of whom were just 18 months old. His wife Lora lay just near the bed, with a bloody hole in her head.
The semi-automatic Luger was still smoking, which he held in his right hand.
At least their death was quick. And I have sent the details away from here.
Let me know how you find this post, or if there's something specific you want to know.
